RCI-National Bridge Course

All in-service Special Teachers/ Rehabilitation Workers, working in the field of disability prior to 1993 who have no formal training but working in the field of disability for a long time can now undergo National Bridge Course Training Programme in the area of specific disability for one month at the cost of Rehabilitation Council of India. The programme provides Rs.1000/- stipend per person for undergoing the Bridge Course besides other travel reimbursement. This course will update their proffessional knowledge and make them eligible for certification and recognition by the RCI as Rehabilitation Personnel as per rules under the RCI Act, 1992.

The National Bridge Course is an on-going programme.
RCI has presently expanded its base to open more training centres in other states, providing further thrust to this training programme.
