New Hangyo joint in town

The newest member of the Hangyo family – Hangyo Saiba has finally arrived. Saiba marks the entry of Hangyo into the multicuisine restaurant sector. Already established as a popular ice-cream chain, Hangyo now seeks to translate its popularity to provide Manipalites the much-awaited “complete” restaurant.

Manipal is the first stop in the long journey Hangyo Saiba seeks to traverse in the restaurant industry across the coastal belts of Karnataka and Kerala, the latter being its present area of interest. With 24 successful ice-cream outlets up and running in the Mangalore and Udupi division and 15 more on the anvil, Hangyo is an already established brand.


Eventfull TAPMI

TAPMI, one of the best business schools in India, is going to conduct a mega event that will include a market research fair, business plan presentation, management and cultural events all put together. TAPMI proposes to hold this mega event around the first or second week of December. All the top A and B rung Business schools like XLRI and the IIM will be invited to take part. The main objective of this event will be to bring the corporate and common man together with the help of academics.


New call centre in Manipal

The Manipal Power Press, one of the companies in the Manipal Group, has made plans to set up an international call centre here in Manipal. The call centre, which is being set up with the help of HCL Infosystems Limited, will begin functioning November this year.
