About Us

"We are one of the largest cultivators of Medicinal Plants in India."

We are working for conservation and cultivation of Medicinal Plants since last 20 years. We are introducing and cultivating few species which were in demand for Export & Industrial use.
Although some plants were available in nature, quantities were not sufficient and we preferred not to disturb the nature. Thus we introduced these plants into the cultivation and made it a commercial success. We were the pioneers for the cultivation of these plants. The company is headed by a botanist and has a team of botanists and agronomists working for the cause.

As a matter of specialisation, we work on selected important medicinal plants which are in demand but not cultivated atleast in India. We do the excessive survey throughout the country to study the Distribution, Morphology, Ecology, Botanical Aspects, Analytical variations of the Active Principles, and its co-reaction with the soil, climate and the natural strains. The best variety is selected and tried at few suitable agro-climatic zones after confirmation of agro-climatic requirements. We go in for the large scale plantation through our farms and the colaborative farmers. Not only the plants, but we also train farmers to take up the medicinal plantation.

We introduced Gloriosa Superba in 1978, Coleus Forskohlli in 1982, Passiflora Incarnata in 1989, Mappia Foetida in 1993 and Ipomoea Hederacea in 1994. This way, today, we have :

Gloriosa Superba - 1500 acres
Coleus Forskohlli - 200 acres
Passiflora Incarnata - 100 acres
Mappia Foetida - 100 acres
Ipomoea Hederacea - 300 acres
Santalum Album - 50 acres

We also have experimental plantations of:

  • Orthosiphon Stamineus
  • Hypericum Perforatum
  • Ammi Visnaga
  • Castanospermum Australae
  • Morinda Tingtoria
  • Ophiorrhiza Mungos ect.

Basically most of the plants we cultivate are grown originally. Our complete export requirement comes from the cultivation. Our all the plantations are inspected by the district forest official regularly since 1984 and they have also given us some colaborative schemes with the tribals.
