NetSparsh comprises two distinct parts -- the main software
(or finder/translator) which does the job of finding the real domain from the
typed domain name and the PC webserver, which is functionally a webserver but
which runs on a PC as contrasted to conventional webservers that run on
dedicated servers. The chief advantage of NetSparsh is that it enables a
plethora of new domain names; here it’s the .tel extension. So a user
who subscribes to this software and service gets www.yourname.tel as
his/her domain name, which can be accessed
using standard browsers like Netscape or MS IE.
