(georgeck@hotmail.com) Procedure: 1:In the Windows directory go to "Application Data\Microsoft\WELCOME" 2:Create a Shortcut for the file Weldata.exe by right clicking on the file and selecting "Create Shortcut" 3:Right click on the newly created shortcut and select "Properties" 4:In the shortcut tab, add the following at the end of the "Target" edit box " You_are_a_real_rascal". This causes the application WELDATA.EXE to be called with the argument 'You_are_a_real_rascal' 5:Now in the "Run" combobox select "Minimized" 6:Click OK and double click the shortcut & ENJOY! Procedure: 1:Open IE4. 2:Go to the ' Help ' menu .click on ' About Internet Explorer' . 3:Keep the ' Control ' key pressed & drag the IE4 blue icon(on the right hand side top) onto the globe. 4:Keeping the ' Control ' key pressed , drag the IE4 icon over the text " Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0". 5:The text "Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0" should vanish revealing a button "unlock". 6:Keeping the " Control" key pressed , Place the IE4 icon back onto the globe & click on the " unlock " button. 7:This should bring up a scroll of numerous credits. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Egg no 1: The " Windows 95" Easter Egg There is an excellent Easter egg in Windows 95 itself that is a tribute to the developers. The music is outstanding. Here is how to generate the Easter Egg: 1. Right click on the desktop. 2. Select New folder. 3. Name it "and now, the moment you've all been waiting for" (without the quotes) and press enter. 4. Right click and rename the folder "we proudly present for your viewing pleasure" and press enter. 5. Right click and rename the folder "The Microsoft Windows 95 Product Team!" and press enter. 6. Open the folder by double clicking on it. NOTE: it IS case sensitive, so be careful to enter everything exactly as you see above or it won't work. Egg no 2: The " Excel 95 " Easter Egg A cool DOOM Easter egg was found in Excel for Win95! Follow these directions: 1.Open Excel with a blank worksheet. 2.Go down to the 95th row . 3.Highlight the 95th row . 4.Tab over to column 'B' . 5.Goto Help/About . 6.hold down ctrl-alt-shift and click on tech support! Cool eh?. If you do a 180, you will be facing the starting place wall. Type "excelkfa".. the wall will open, sounds sorta familiar eh? If you can walk down the narrow walkway you can see the pics of the "tortured souls. Egg no 3: Selected Easter Eggs That Can Be Found In The Windows 95 OS. Some of these might not work if you have IE Explorer 4.0 Preview Release installed. 1:Go to the start menu and click Help. 2:Click the tab marked Find. 3:At this point you may get a wizard asking you to set up Find. If you do, use the defaults. 4:In the Find dialog box click Options. 5:Set the top section to: All the words you typed in order, set the next section to: begin with the characters you typed. 5:Click OK to return back to the main dialog box, and enter in the top box exactly: Who knows who built this tool? 6:Hold down Shift and Control while clicking the Clear button. 7:Click Options again, and set the top section to: At least one of the words you typed, set the next section to: contain the characters you type. And click OK to return back to the main dialog box. 8:In the top box enter exactly: The Shadow knows! 9:Hold down Shift and Control while clicking the Clear button Egg no 4: Where's the START button?
