There are various mental disorders falling into the category of psychosexual. These include all mental impairments which cause the patient an inability to function as a normal member of society and deal with the opposite sex in a healthy manner. They have been of much controversy in recent years even though these disorders have been largely curable since before 1940. They however require aggressive and expensive treatment in order to bring about such cures so the diseases are often ignored.
