Born on February 3, 1936 as the second son of Mr.
D. Abraham & Mrs. Annamma Abraham of an ancient Jacobite Syrian Orthodox
Christian family - Karimpanackal Puthenpurayil, popularly known as "Puthen
Kettidathil" - at Cheppad , a village in Alappuzha District of Kerala in India.
After his graduation his father expired and he came to Pasuppara, a small
village in Idukki District of Kerala , to look after the whole-sale business and
gardens of his family. He entered in to the social life in 1962 as elected as a
member of the Grama Panchayath. He was a teacher, politician and cultural
activist. Being a renowned co - operator from Idukki District, he is now a
managing committee member of the Institute of Co-operative Management at
Thiruvananthapuram & Kannur and the Director of the Idukki District
Cattlefeed Manufacturing & Marketing
Society Ltd.
He was a promoter of the Idukki District Co-operative Bank Ltd. and had been
elected as the Executive Director of the bank many times. He was a delegate of
the National Co-operative Union of India to the countries like Japan, Thailand,
Taiwan, Philippines and Hongkong in 1984 for a study about the co-operative
sector. He has been continuing as the President of the Malanadu Service
Co-operative Bank Ltd. since 1971, perhaps the first person in Kerala who
occupies this office for such a long time. Under his tenure , Malanadu Tea
Factory, the first co-operative tea factory in Kerala under a bank, was
opened.

She is the eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs. M. G. Mathew, belongs to a Marthomite family ( Mukkoottil ) at Kuzhikala, a village in Pathanamthitta District of Kerala. She was a high-school teacher and expired on November 7, 1992 followed by a cardiac operation, at the age of 44.
Born on October 8, 1972. Did his Bachelor of Hotel Management (B.H.M) from Mangalore University. After our mother's death he turned to religion and did his Bachelor of Divinity( B.D.) from the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary, Mulamthuruthy, Kerala as the top scorer. Ordained as a Deacon in 1998 by Late H. G. Geevarghese Mor Gregorios & as a "Kassissa"( 'Achan' or priest) in June,1999 by H. G. Thomas Mor Themothios at St. Joseph's Cathredal, Kottayam. Presently he is studying for M.Th (Master of Theoloy) at Vadavathoor,Kottayam . Also, he is an editor of the Diocese magazine.He stays at Ponkunnam now.
Born on October 31, 1974. She is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from C.M. S. College, Kottayam. She is a house-wife now. She has one son & one daughter ( born on 26 th April , 2001 ).
The eldest son of Prof. P. T. Thomas & Pof. Lily Mary Thomas, belongs to Puthenpurakkal, an Orthodox Syrian family at Mavelikkara, Kerala. He did his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Manipal and currently running Karunya- a dental clinic at Elappara in Idukki District.
