In any city, the state of the roads is sure indication of its health. Jamshedpur, with its smooth and wide tree-lined roads, provide an excellent example.

Jamshedpur is a model city because planning continues to play the principal role in its growth, while keeping alive J N Tata's vision. Today, despite a growing population - now at 4,61,212 - Jamshedpur is admired for its ability to think, plan and stay ahead.
