INTRODUCTION

At Melcom, we have spent more than 15 years in developing electronic products and essential electronic components for the electronic industries. In 1987, Melcom introduced its first line of power line interference filters. This innovation meant that our customers could replace the many separate parts involved in power entry with a single multifunction unit. Hence, evolved the need for more features and combinations of power line interference filters. As a result, we have developed the widest range of filters with over 75 standard or custom made filter types, covering virtually every application. We design and develop filters as per the safety standard guidelines laid down by Indian and International safety agencies like ISI, BSI, UL, VDE etc.

Our power line filters are manufactured with a commitment to quality and cost control. The quality function is an integral part not only of our manufacturing, but of all aspects of the business; design, distribution and customer service. We work with our customers to design and manufacture the highest quality products.

Our quality system employs in process techniques for quality control, where in each and every piece of our product is tested at every stage, during the course of manufacturing, where we check the component values, insulation resistance, high voltage breakdown, leakage current and the finish of the product.

The developments of the products are based on our accumulated know-how's and new technologies to meet the needs of our customers and to keep up to the commitment in offering the best products to the electronic industry.
