A Complete Introduction to learning
the fundamental concepts of Carnatic
Music in graded lessons.

The first cassette contains a basic introduction
to the carnatic music. starting with the svara scale in carnatic music
the learner is introduced to the svaras and simple practice lessons like
saralivarisa, jantavarisa and dattu varisa.

The Second cassette comprises the Alankara and
Gitam, the basics of talas in carnatic music and simple ragas by practice
lessons of alankara. The introduction to the different ragas based on simple
kritis by different composers are taught in the second cassette.

The Third cassette continues the gitam compositions
and svarajathis and jathisvaram are introduced. Rare compostions of Svarajathi
by SyamaSastri has been rendered.
