1)           “Bilinear Transformation: A Matrix Method”, AMSE, (France), A, Vol 1992-93. (Paper available on request)

Abstract: The bilinear transformation can be achieved using the method of synthetic division. A good deal of simplification is obtained when the process is implemented as a series of matrix operations. Besides, the matrices are found to have simple structures suitable for algorithmic implementation.

Abstract: Low density parity check (LDPC) codes are a class of very powerful error correcting codes. While LDPC codes already have a rich theory, issues specific to implementation are an active area of research. In this paper we look at the issue of designing LDPC codes for multiple-channel communication scenarios. We have proposed a new description of LDPC codes that utilizes the a priori information about noise behavior in such scenarios for performance analysis of LDPC codes. We show that this new description has a better predictive ability than the conventional description.
