Rome
, 21st to 22nd March '99.
Colloseum : It is said that long ago the christians were asked to fight wild animals here. There are galleries for watching the proceedings.
Part of the Roman forum : Most of this area lie in ruins and do not look sufficiently interesting possibly because they lie in the middle of the city. It fails to strike that it was here that the roman civilization had started.
Vittorio Emanuel II : An impressive monument
The Pantheon : significant from architectural point of view

Trevi fountain : One has to throw a coin in the water here and wish that he may visit Rome again.
The Spanish steps : Colorful crowd on a Sunday afternoon
The bridge over river Tevere that connects the Vatican to Rome
Piazza San Pietro at the entrance of the Vatican church. It was raining !
The high pillars on the two sides of the Piazza San Pietro
An illuminated and decorated ceiling inside the Vatican museum. This museum was also as impressive as the Louvre at Paris. The star attraction here is Sistina Chapel, the ceiling of which was painted by Michaelangelo.
