It gives me a great pleasure to address you by way of the internet. The Brotherhood of Freemasonry extends to every corner of the globe and boasts a lineage from Royalty to common man and professionals in every field of Science, Music, Literature and the Arts. It strives to make good men better and silently contributes to the welfare of society as and when needed.
Through this page, the Lodge will attempt to promote the ideals of our Fraternity, as well as endeavour to explain facts to those outside the Order. Facts about Freemasonry in general, our presence in India, evolution of Freemasonry in India and a brief history of our Lodge which was the First to admit Indians in 1843.
I trust this web page will go a long way in communicating with clarity, the existence and roots of Freemasonry in India. And, the heritage and history our Lodge is blessed with.
The internet has become an integral part of our lives; and will have an even greater impact in the years to come. We have thus taken a conscious decision to keep this site continuously updated. Rather than restricting ourselves only to giving out information; we have updated out site with sections where the visitor can lend his views; and observe the views of other visitors - enough incentive we feel, for the visitor to visit regularly.
