Folks !!! Welcome to my "Indian
Railways", a collection of the best links
to info on the Indian Railways.

I started out with the "Konkan Railway - The Resource Page" which I put up on 22 Dec 1998 and met with a very good response. The launch of this page is part of the overall scheme of presenting the entire Indian Railway system. The updated and revised edition of the "Konkan Railway Resource Page" will be featured under this umbrella. While my interests vary wide beyond Indian or other worldwide railway systems ... I will focus on the Indian Railways system in an effort to do justice to its representation here. I have realised that a great deal of interest in various facets for the Indian Railways exists among amateurs - "Railfans" or "Trainspotters" and it will be my earnest effort to effectively participate in exchange of info. I do look forward to a more dynamic exchange of information. It will be incomplete to mention how important the internet is in bringing about information - exchange and I am really proud of some of the outstanding contributions of fellow Indian Railways railway enthusiasts to enlighten us on the IR system. It is planned that the webpages will serve to update the reader on various facets of the IR system, as viewed by author, with respect to developments, schedules, and related Indian Railway Information. I'll be glad
to answer all queries you may have (though i don't guarantee correct answers
to all questions)
