Sariska National Park

Satpura National Park Sasan Gir Pench Tiger Reserve Ranthambhore NP

In the heart of the dry-lands and cradled between the Aravalli range in Rajasthan, India lies the green oasis called Sariska.

Just 180 kms from New Delhi, this wonderful wildlife paradise is a 3~4 hour drive from the capital .

> Sariska is open round the year, but the dirt tracks are closed during the rainy season (July - October)

> Sariska has an abundance of ungulates and you can see large herds of Nilgai, Cheetal and Sambar.

> Jackals, Hare, Porcupines and partridges are easily sighted and their presence distinguishes Sariska from other Parks in India.

> The tiger is not seen often and leopards are a rare sight.

> Rhesus & Langurs are abundant and often a nuisance to tourists.

> Accommodation is either at RTDC's Tiger Den (budget) or at Sariska Palace Hotel, a heritage property and an old hunting lodge of Maharaja of Alwar.
