Be Encouraged! |

Here's the first weekly free encouragement letter. Let me first tell you why this letter. |
|
1.That I may be an encouragement to you. As each issue is released, I pray for you and hope that it may cheer you up and keep you going in whatever the situation you may be. All of us need encouragement. I do. You do. So be encouraged right now! |
|
2.That you become an encourager to others. We are surrounded by people who need encouragement. Your family. Your co-workers. Your friends. They may be looking up to you to encourage them. |

Coping with failures |
|
In a society where success is the name of the game, it's hard to be a failure. Where everybody loves a winner, losers are lonely people. But there is hope! There are two great secrets to coping well with failures. |
|
The first is God's Truth. God's truth is the opposite of the devil's lies-"I'm no good as a student." "I don't have what it takes." "There's no future for me." "I just can't make it". Here are some fundamental truths that can help-"I can expect difficulties as well as failures in life". "Just because I'm down doesn't mean I'll stay down". "Everybody falls; the secret to coping well is comeback-getting up again". All these are part of God's truth for us. |

The second is God's Love. We are not alone. There is always the God who cares. God feels our discouragement as well. There is no place where earth's sorrows are felt more than up in heaven. Nahum 1:7 tells us that God " knows those who take refuge in Him". He knows what hurts us. He knows what discourages us, what brings us down. He cares and that is, for many, quite enough. What we need constantly is to be reminded of what God's love is based upon. It isn't based on my performance. Whether I fail or succeed, God's love is based on who I am in Christ. If you don't know Him, then you have no hope at all. Make the Lord Jesus your personal Savior and Lord and you'll know what is God's love. Well, what about coping with success? Now, that is even harder! |

The above article comes out of my own experience of coping with failures many times. There's always hope to come back and that’s why today you are reading this! |
